Meet the new Analytics

A clearer way to understand your mentions, reach and sentiment — and dig into what’s driving the numbers.

We’ve redesigned Analytics to make it easier to understand what’s happening in your monitoring — and dig deeper into what’s driving the numbers.

Open any of your alerts to explore the new Analytics. You’ll find dedicated reports for Mentions, Reach and Sentiment, making it easier to explore your results in more detail.

Instead of having analytics spread across different views, you can now explore three dedicated reports:

  • Mentions — understand how much you’re being talked about and where the conversation is happening.

  • Reach — understand your visibility and which sources are driving it.

  • Sentiment — understand how the conversation is being perceived and what’s driving positive and negative sentiment.

Has any of my data disappeared?

Your mentions and underlying data are not affected. Most of the analytics you used before are now organised across the new Mentions, Reach and Sentiment reports.

The exception is Topics, which we previously announced is being rebuilt. While we work on a more useful version, Topics and its related analytics — Topics in context, Topics over time and PEST analysis — are temporarily unavailable.

Everything else can be found in the new Analytics experience. Here’s where things have moved:

What has changed or been removed?

We’ve simplified parts of the older Analytics view where several charts answered similar questions.

A few features, such as the old Impact chart, Topics and PEST analysis, have been removed. Their underlying mentions and data haven’t disappeared — we’ve focused the new reports on clearer ways to understand volume, reach and sentiment.

Can I still filter my analytics?

Yes. Your date range and filters apply across the Analytics view, so the numbers, charts and sources update based on what you’ve selected.

For example, filtering to Podcasts + Negative sentiment lets you explore the reach, volume and sources specifically for those mentions.

Can I see the mentions behind the numbers?

Yes. A key part of the new Analytics is making it easier to go from the big picture to the actual coverage behind it.

You can explore the relevant sources and mentions from each report to understand what is driving the numbers, rather than stopping at the chart.

Got feedback?

The new Analytics is a foundation we’ll continue to build on. We’ll learn from how it’s used and keep improving the experience based on your feedback and needs.
