Impact shows which sources matter most in your monitoring, based on both reach and how often they mention your keywords.
The Impact map highlights 20 sources in total:
the 10 sources with the highest estimated reach
the 10 sources that mention your keywords most often
These sources appear both on the map and in the list below it.
How to read the map
Each source’s position on the map is determined by two factors: reach and sentiment.
Reach determines how high a source appears.
Sources placed higher on the map have a larger estimated audience.
Sentiment indicates whether the overall coverage from that source has been more positive or more negative during the selected time period.
Together, these two dimensions give you a quick overview of both visibility and tone across the sources that influence your topic the most.
Why sentiment may look different on the map
Sentiment in the platform is displayed as positive, neutral, or negative.
Behind these labels is a more detailed sentiment score used to calculate each mention. For example, a mention might receive a score such as +14 or –79.
The Impact map uses the average sentiment score for each source. Because of this, a source may appear slightly more positive or negative on the map, even if many of its individual mentions appear neutral when you open them.
